Hello everyone, today I’m here to share one of the plugins I’ve been most excited to see available for Linux.
Mix Locker is a VST plugin (Virtual Mix Rack), with several effect modules for mixing such as compressors, equalizers, delays, reverbs, and more.
What makes it especially interesting is that most of the modules emulate real hardware units, such as the 1176 and LA-2A compressors, the Pultec equalizer, and the SSL console, among others.
Mix Locker is an excellent alternative to plugins like T-RackS and Slate Digital’s Virtual Mix Rack. Of course, it’s not exactly the same thing, but considering the quality, price, and the fact that it is native on Linux, I recommend giving it a try.
